Job Description
Visa's Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-week journey where you'll work on impactful projects that drive Visa's mission forward. As a Visa intern, you'll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.

The North America Financial Institutions Sales, Strategy and Operations Intern will assist with various tasks and projects to support the Sponsor Bank segment. This role involves working with different cross-functional teams to help deliver growth to Visa's sponsor bank partners, enhance risk management, improve the sponsorship ecosystem, and support operational excellence.
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work
Primary Responsibilities:
• Participate in cross-functional projects to build, refine, and implement strategies to drive growth for Visa's sponsor bank partners.
• Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to identify client pain points and assist in launching new products/services.
• Create frameworks and processes to improve internal operational excellence for the Sponsor Bank segment.
• Support the process of tracking and measuring sales objectives to improve cross-functional collaboration, pipeline management, goal setting, and recognition.
• Help monitor market trends, activities, and competitor actions to support the development of strategies and plans for clients.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field with a graduation date in December 2026-August 2027
• Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of payment products.
• Proactive, self-starter, and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Process-oriented with the ability to document processes and achieve goals across multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other functional areas to understand operational issues.
• Client-focused, with a determination to resolve issues and conflicts.
• Curious mindset and a hands-on approach to all activities, with real passion for the payments industry.

For roles located in the US, the estimated hourly rate is $35 to $39 USD. The hourly rate may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
